Artificial Sweeteners.Are they Really Safe


Artificial Sweeteners gives you the taste of sweetness without any calories, artificial sweeteners seems like a healthy alternative  to sugar and they could be one answer to effective weight loss and to manage diabetes. 
These sweetener cubes are so much sweeter than our regular sugar, a very small amount is needed to achieve the same sweetness one gets from sugar(sucrose) Artificial Sweeteners are called as Non-Nutritive Sweeteners(NNS)
Some Facts  of Artificial sweeteners are :-

Sugar Free are sometimes dangerous - A chemical called Aspartame found in some sugar free substitute have serious side side effects to brain,too much of Aspartame can cause brain tumour , its not worth to consume for the sake of saved calories. Another chemical known as Sucralose is injurious to your liver and kidneys,researchers have said that Splenda(sucralose) can enlarge both the liver and kidneys and shrinks the thymus glands. It can also cause bladder issues constipation  headaches skin rashes.People who have phenylketonuria and who are allergic to sulfonamides should avoid artificial sweeteners strictly.

Drawbacks of Artificial Sweeteners are:-


Affects Metabolic syndrome-  Artificial do not increase blood sugar levels like table sugar do.This causes the pancreas to respond differently to the artificial sugars,The consumption of artificial ssweetener can lead to  abnormal pancrease functioning and insulin levels.
It affects Gut health- The microorganisms becomes less effective to break down real sugars the more they expose to artificial sugars,they are needed to break down the food we eat in our digestive system,This can lead to obesity and metabolic syndrome.It leads to (IBS) irritable bowel syndrome,it decreases our ability to get the nutrients from our food we eat. In a recent research it showed that artificial sweeteners can kill the good bacteria therefore disrupts your intestinal flora 
Weight Gain- consuming these artificial sweeteners can lead to other cravings  as an increased desire for high calorie foods,which leads to weight gain. 

Artificial Sweeteners might sound intriguing, but dont fall for the trap.These are the major cause for other  illness and inflammation.
